Meet Zephyr Family Farm
Hi! We're Amanda and Steven and we make up Zephyr Family Farm. We couldn't be more excited to be in our fith year of brining you Certified Naturally Grown produce!
We’ve recently relocated to Person County, and into our forever farm!! We may have changed our location but our focus remains the same.
We grow southern heirlooms and crops from around the world that do well in our changing climate. This year we’ll grow at least 40 different types of produce through all 4 seasons, making use of our outside fields and our greenhouses.
We really focus on growing healthy soil, healthy plants follow. That means tilling as little as possible, adding organic matter like forest mulch, spent mushroom blocks and biochar, and using practices like crop rotation and cover cropping. This is our most effective way of managing our pest and disease pressures, and we've seen dramatic changes in soil health using these methods.

You can find us at the Western Wake Farmers Market in Morrisville on Saturdays from 8am till 12pm
Briar Chapel Farmers Market in Chapel Hill on Fridays 4-6pm
Pittsboro Farmers Market in Pittsboro on Thursdays from 3-6pm
On farm pickups in Roxboro Fridays 4-7pm
And the first Saturday of every month we'll be at the Person County Farmers Market in Roxboro from 8-12pm
