Hi! We're Amanda and Steven and we make up Zephyr Family Farm. We couldn't be more excited to be in our third year of brining you Certified Naturally Grown produce. Located in Wake County, we grow southern heirlooms and crops that do well in our changing climate. We really focus on growing healthy soil, healthy plants follow. That means tilling as little as possible, adding organic matter like forest mulch, spent mushroom blocks and biochar, and using practices like crop rotation and cover cropping. This is our most effective way of managing our pest and disease pressures, and in the three years we've been on this land we've seen dramatic changes in soil health.
